I think that the flash did a great job making this movie to exist.

My hopes for this movie. Batman is absolutely lethal. Moves like lightning. Hes supposed to be just about the best martial artist on the planet bar a few other people. Not a slow and clunky brawler in kevlar like in a certain trilogy. Dark and gritty. We all hate this tired trope at this point, but it still applies to batman. A detective story. Show batman matching wits with the riddler. No expanded universe bat family silliness. The worst decision ever made for the batman mythos was introducing a small army of bat proteges. Its so unlike his character to recruit people. I can just about tolerate the idea of a robin, let alone 10 other people. Based on the trailer, most of my expectations seem to be met! Though we havent really seen him in true combat yet, so I will reserve my judgement on that point. But hes at least vicious, that much is obvious.

Danos line delivery is menacingly sick. Goodness I hope the “I am vengeance, I am the (k)night, I am Batman” line happens in the film. Slowly developing Catwoman, Oz, the Court of Owls, and other rogues is such a smart move and really setting the tone for an epic series of Batman films that have so much promise right now to be better than the Nolan trilogy.
